We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Operator to support our aircraft parts procurement team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in data entry, excellent organisational skills, and familiarity with aviation or procurement processes. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering and verifying data, and ensuring all procurement-related documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

Duties and responsibilities
Data Entry & Management:
  1. Accurately input and update procurement data, including purchase orders, supplier quotes, invoices, and inventory records, into ERP systems or procurement tools.
  2. Maintain and organize digital and physical records of procurement activities.
  3. Verify and cross-check data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Documentation Support:
  1. Assist the procurement team in preparing and managing supplier quotes, contracts, and pricing data.
  2. Compile and organize reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and inventory levels.
  3. Ensure compliance with aviation standards by maintaining detailed and well-organized documentation.
Collaboration:
  1. Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate data entry for purchase orders and supplier performance tracking.
  2. Support the procurement team in tracking delivery schedules and updating records in real time.
  3. Assist in preparing data for audits and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Quality Control:
  1. Regularly review data for discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  2. Support the procurement team in identifying and resolving errors or inconsistencies in data.
Skills and experience
Must-Have:
  1. 1–2 years of experience in data entry or administrative roles (experience in aviation or procurement is a plus).
  2. Proficiency in data entry software and tools, including MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
  3. Strong typing speed and accuracy with attention to detail.
  4. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive data.
  5. Basic understanding of purchase orders, supplier quotes, and inventory management.
Good to Have:
  1. Familiarity with aviation industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA) or procurement processes.
  2. Experience working with procurement and inventory management tools.
  3. Knowledge of basic pricing and cost analysis methods.
Soft Skills:
  1. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  2. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  3. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
